Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work PixCell-Deer #29 by Kohei Nawa was sold in the HI-LITE Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,485,000.00 (€ 404,195.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kohei Nawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work PixCell-Jackalope #5, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit PixCell-Deer #29 von Kohei Nawa wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion HI-LITE Evening Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.485.000,00 (€ 404.195,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kohei Nawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit PixCell-Jackalope #5 beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83) versteigert wurde.
