Meiji era (1868-1912), dated 1879 and 1881
Two oban yoko-e prints from the Tokyo landscape series; the first titled Dai nikai nai kangyo hakurankai no uchi Gokakudo (Gokakudo Hall at the Second Exhibition for the Promotion of Domestic Industry), dated Meiji 14 (1881); the second titled Dokanyama yuhigure (Sunset at Mount Dokan), dated Meiji 12, (1879), both published by Fukuda Kumajiro, both signed Kobayashi Kiyochika hitsu. Each sheet approx., 23.2cm x 34.2cm (9 1/8in x 13½in). (2).
