Meiji era (1868-1912), dated 1877, 1879 and 1881
Three oban yoko-e prints from the Tokyo landscape series; the first titled Asakusa tanbo Taro Inari (Taro Inari Shrine in the Asakusa Ricefields), dated probably Meiji 10 (1877); the second titled Kawaguchi nabekama seizo no zu (Manufacturing Pots and Kettles in Kawaguchi), dated Meiji 12 (1879); the last titled Sumidagawa nakasu suiraibi (Torpedo Fireworks at Nakasu on the Sumida River), dated Meiji 14 (1881), all published by Fukuda Kumajiro; all signed Kobayashi Kiyochika hitsu. Each sheet approx., 23.2cm x 34.2cm (9 1/8in x 13½in) (3).
