Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Kobayakawa Kiyoshi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2005. It changed hands for a price of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,392.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kobayakawa Kiyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Showa era (1926-1989), 1930 in March last year with an auction result of USD 50,312.50 (€ 45,355.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Kobayakawa Kiyoshi kam im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.392,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kobayakawa Kiyoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Showa era (1926-1989), 1930 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.312,50 (€ 45.355,18).
