This artwork by Kobayakawa Kiyoshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in March last year. In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Showa era (1926-1989), 1931 sold for USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,045.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kobayakawa Kiyoshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Showa era (1926-1989), 1930 in March last year with an auction result of USD 50,312.50 (€ 45,355.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kobayakawa Kiyoshi erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art wurde die Arbeit Showa era (1926-1989), 1931 für USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.045,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kobayakawa Kiyoshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Showa era (1926-1989), 1930 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.312,50 (€ 45.355,18).
