This artwork by Klara Kristalova achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in September 2020. In the From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection auction, the work Young birch sold for EUR 10,965.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Klara Kristalova; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of SEK 160,000.00 (€ 17,071.13).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Klara Kristalova; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 160.000,00 (€ 17.071,13).
