Sold at the lower estimate price
The work A leopard surveying his territory by Kim Donaldson was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in August 2012. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,261.25) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kim Donaldson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pfuri River Elephants, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,472.76).
