Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Khaled Hafez was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,249.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Khaled Hafez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tomb Sonata In Three Military Movements II in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,209.90).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Khaled Hafez kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.249,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Khaled Hafez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tomb Sonata In Three Military Movements II im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 52.209,90).
