The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,763.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Khaled Hafez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tomb Sonata In Three Military Movements II in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,209.90).
