Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Howa by Khaled Ben Slimane was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,895.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Khaled Ben Slimane have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work Ascension Viii was auctioned for USD 92,500.00 (€ 69,711.36).
