Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for Deposition by Kevin Sinnott was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2009. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,021.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kevin Sinnott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Over and Above in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 8,812.50 (€ 9,717.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study for Deposition von Kevin Sinnott kam im März 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.021,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kevin Sinnott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Over and Above im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.812,50 (€ 9.717,21).
