Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Adam and Eve by Kevin Sinnott was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 4,985.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kevin Sinnott have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2020 the work Over and Above was auctioned for GBP 8,812.50 (€ 9,717.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Adam and Eve von Kevin Sinnott wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 4.985,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kevin Sinnott konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2020 die Arbeit Over and Above für GBP 8.812,50 (€ 9.717,21) versteigert.
