This work without title by Kenzo Okada was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2008. The auction ended at the price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,207.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenzo Okada achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homage in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,112.25).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kenzo Okada kam im Juli 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.207,39) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenzo Okada erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homage im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.112,25).
