The work Blobzetc... by Kenny Scharf was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 215,900.00 (€ 247,913.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kenny Scharf - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work City of the Future, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 983,175.00 (€ 916,200.73).

Die Arbeit Blobzetc... von Kenny Scharf wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 215.900,00 (€ 247.913,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Für andere Arbeiten von Kenny Scharf mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit City of the Future beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 983.175,00 (€ 916.200,73) versteigert wurde.
