Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2001 Christies in Sydney held the auction CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work Blue Interior by Ken Whisson. The price achieved of AUD 35,250.00 (€ 20,463.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Ken Whisson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Australian Earth, Houses And Vehicle was auctioned for AUD 48,000.00 (€ 28,915.03).

Im August 2001 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Interior von Ken Whisson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 35.250,00 (€ 20.463,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden.
