In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Punch and Judy at the Beach by Ken Moroney. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,212.77), 27% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ken Moroney have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,547.96) in September 2002 for the work Punch and Judy.
