This artwork by Ken Moroney achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in April 2005. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work A vase of flowers on a table sold for GBP 204.00 (€ 301.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 100.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ken Moroney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Punch and Judy in September 2002 with an auction result of GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,547.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ken Moroney erzielte im April 2005 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit A vase of flowers on a table für GBP 204,00 (€ 301,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 100,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ken Moroney erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Punch and Judy im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.232,50 (€ 3.547,96).
