Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Silence = Death by Keith Haring. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,609,500.00 (€ 5,031,392.95). Other works by Keith Haring have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73) in May 2017 for the work without title.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Silence = Death von Keith Haring zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.609.500,00 (€ 5.031.392,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73) im Mai 2017 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
