Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fish Traps near Gunung Santubong, Sarawak by Keith Grant was sold in the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in March 2001. The price achieved of GBP 117.50 (€ 189.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Grant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shropshire Landscape in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,271.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fish Traps near Gunung Santubong, Sarawak von Keith Grant wurde im März 2001 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 117,50 (€ 189,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Grant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shropshire Landscape im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.271,98).
