Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rain, Lake Glencar by Keith Grant was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35.25 (€ 54.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Grant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shropshire Landscape in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,271.98).

Die Arbeit Rain, Lake Glencar von Keith Grant kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35,25 (€ 54,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Grant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shropshire Landscape im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.271,98).
