Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kees Maks have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 144,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Na het bad; after bathing von Kees Maks kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kees Maks auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Tuinscene - Garden Scene im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.750,00.
