Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Katy Grannan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April 2018. In the New Now auction, the work Deanna Allentown sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,982.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Katy Grannan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anonymous, Los Angeles in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Katy Grannan erzielte im April 2018 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Deanna Allentown für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.982,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katy Grannan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Anonymous, Los Angeles im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68).
