Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2014. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 79,803.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 216,000.00 (€ 161,507.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 79.803,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 216.000,00 (€ 161.507,40) versteigert wurde.
