Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in Mumbai held the auction Boundless: India, which included the work Drought by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar. The price achieved of INR 6,875,000.00 (€ 86,825.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as INR 6,000,000.00 – 8,000,000.00. Other works by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work without title was auctioned for USD 216,000.00 (€ 161,507.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in Mumbai die Auktion Boundless: India durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drought von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von INR 6.875.000,00 (€ 86.825,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit INR 6.000.000,00 – 8.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 216.000,00 (€ 161.507,40) versteigert.
