The work Untitled (Peacock) by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar was auctioned at Christies in Mumbai in December 2015. It achieved a price of INR 3,000,000.00 (€ 41,716.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 216,000.00 (€ 161,507.40).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Peacock) von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Mumbai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von INR 3.000.000,00 (€ 41.716,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 216.000,00 (€ 161.507,40) versteigert wurde.
