Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sunshine by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,459.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 216,000.00 (€ 161,507.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sunshine von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.459,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kattingeri Krishna Hebbar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 216.000,00 (€ 161.507,40).
