Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Fine Japanese Art, which included the work The Actor Ichikawa Danjuro Vi As Ono Sadakuro by Katsukawa Shunei. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,611.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Katsukawa Shunei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Two Sumo Wrestlers was auctioned for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,394.03).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.611,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
