Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Crossing The Swirling River by Maiko Kasai. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,667.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maiko Kasai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Don'T Take My Calf! (Diptych), which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 20,926.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crossing The Swirling River von Maiko Kasai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.667,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Maiko Kasai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Don'T Take My Calf! (Diptych) beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 20.926,46) versteigert wurde.
