Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work "Trädgård, Grez" (Garden, Grez) by Karl Nordström for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 9,505.00). This price was achieved in the auction The Classic Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Nordström - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland), which sold at auction in June 2011 for SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,111.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Trädgård, Grez" (Garden, Grez) von Karl Nordström für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 9.505,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Nordström mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für SEK 175.000,00 (€ 19.111,07) versteigert wurde.
