Sold at the lower estimate price
The work "Stormdag med brytande sjö på klipporna" (Stormy day with high sea against the cliffs) by Karl Nordström was sold in the Classic Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014. The result of SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,092.04) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Nordström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,111.07).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Stormdag med brytande sjö på klipporna" (Stormy day with high sea against the cliffs) von Karl Nordström wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.092,04) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Nordström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 19.111,07).
