This artwork by Karl Nordström achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2018. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work A glimpse of the ocean sold for SEK 130,000.00 (€ 12,788.93) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Karl Nordström; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) sold at auction in June 2011 with the realized price of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,111.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Nordström erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wurde die Arbeit A glimpse of the ocean für SEK 130.000,00 (€ 12.788,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Karl Nordström; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) im Juni 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 19.111,07).
