Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karl Momen could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Metaphor: The Tree of Utah" changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,950.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Karl Momen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2010 by the work "Konfrontation" at SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,863.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Momen konnte im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Metaphor: The Tree of Utah" für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.950,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Karl Momen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2010 die Arbeit "Konfrontation" mit SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.863,25).
