Despite a disappointment, a good price for Karl Momen
When the work "Konfrontation" by Karl Momen was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,863.25). Despite this disappointing result, "Konfrontation" is the most expensive artwork by Karl Momen that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Karl Momen
Als die Arbeit "Konfrontation" von Karl Momen im Oktober 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.863,25) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Konfrontation" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Karl Momen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
