Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work One Dollar, KL 13 by Karl Lagasse. The price achieved of EUR 704.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Lagasse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jesus is Lord in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 81,268.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit One Dollar, KL 13 von Karl Lagasse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 704,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Lagasse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jesus is Lord im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 81.268,62).
