Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kang Hyung-Koo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kang Hyung-Koo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vincent Van Gogh in Blue in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 4,567,500.00 (€ 399,283.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kang Hyung-Koo kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kang Hyung-Koo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vincent Van Gogh in Blue im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.567.500,00 (€ 399.283,09).
