Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Untitled (Musui Walking With Maiya) by K. S. Radhakrishnan. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,193.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by K. S. Radhakrishnan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maiya As Graduate in November 2019 with an auction result of INR 1,500,000.00 (€ 18,921.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Musui Walking With Maiya) von K. S. Radhakrishnan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.193,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von K. S. Radhakrishnan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maiya As Graduate im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 1.500.000,00 (€ 18.921,86).
