Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jussi Mäntynen could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work "Gammelhusbond" (Old master) changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,108.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jussi Mäntynen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lynx in June 2012 with an auction result of SEK 110,000.00 (€ 12,556.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jussi Mäntynen konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit "Gammelhusbond" (Old master) für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.108,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jussi Mäntynen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lynx im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 110.000,00 (€ 12.556,05).
