The work The bearcub and the fish by Jussi Mäntynen was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year. The result of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,689.29) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jussi Mäntynen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lynx in June 2012 with an auction result of SEK 110,000.00 (€ 12,556.05).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The bearcub and the fish von Jussi Mäntynen kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.689,29) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jussi Mäntynen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lynx im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 110.000,00 (€ 12.556,05).
