In December 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A Still Life With Oysters, Peaches And A Lemon On A Marble Table With A Fringed Carpet And Glasses by Juriaan van Streek. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,199.94), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Juriaan van Streek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With A Chinese Blue And White Porcelain Bowl And Ewer, A Silver Porringer, Fruit And Other Objects, On A Partly Draped Table in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 162,127.11).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With Oysters, Peaches And A Lemon On A Marble Table With A Fringed Carpet And Glasses von Juriaan van Streek zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.199,94) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juriaan van Streek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With A Chinese Blue And White Porcelain Bowl And Ewer, A Silver Porringer, Fruit And Other Objects, On A Partly Draped Table im Januar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 162.127,11).
