Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, A.C. Martin and Associates by Julius Shulman for USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,742.29). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs Now The Collector's Edition at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julius Shulman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kaufmann House, Palm Springs, 1947 in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 35,708.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, A.C.
