The work Aquarium by Julius Olsson was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2012. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,273.73) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julius Olsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Golden Shore in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 18,380.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Aquarium von Julius Olsson kam im Juli 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.273,73) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julius Olsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Golden Shore im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 18.380,09).
