A top price for Julio Ruelas - as previously expected
This work without title by Julio Ruelas was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 40,625.00 (€ 28,759.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Julio Ruelas that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Julio Ruelas kam im Mai 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 28.759,03) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Julio Ruelas, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
