Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Friends and Enemies, Margot and Caroline, 2000 by Julie Moos for USD 500.00 (€ 348.72). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julie Moos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs. Merritt and Mrs. Crum (from Hat Ladies series) in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,624.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Friends and Enemies, Margot and Caroline, 2000 von Julie Moos für USD 500,00 (€ 348,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julie Moos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mrs. Merritt and Mrs. Crum (from Hat Ladies series) im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.624,72).
