Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work Seraphine II by Julie Hedrick for USD 255.00 (€ 256.69). This price was achieved in the auction Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation Charity Auction at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julie Hedrick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October last year for USD 765.00 (€ 770.08).
