Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julie Hedrick could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation Charity Auction auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 140.25 (€ 141.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Julie Hedrick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October last year with an auction result of USD 765.00 (€ 770.08).
