Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chemtrails by Julie Curtiss was sold in the Heatwave auction at Phillips in an online auction in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,346.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julie Curtiss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Widows in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 466,200.00 (€ 393,484.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chemtrails von Julie Curtiss wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Heatwave bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.346,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julie Curtiss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Widows im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 466.200,00 (€ 393.484,13).
