Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Suspended by Julian Stanczak was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 19,000.00 (€ 22,526.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julian Stanczak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Undulating Currents in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 98,986.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Suspended von Julian Stanczak kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 19.000,00 (€ 22.526,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julian Stanczak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Undulating Currents im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 98.986,38).
