In January 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work Women At The Seashore by Julian Falat. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,209.81), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Julian Falat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work City Walls With The Basilica of The Virgin Mary In The Background, Krakow in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 52,281.37).

Im Januar 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Women At The Seashore von Julian Falat zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.209,81) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julian Falat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit City Walls With The Basilica of The Virgin Mary In The Background, Krakow im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 52.281,37).
