In June 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale, which included the work Polish royal Hill, Krakow by Julian Falat. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,441.11), 48% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julian Falat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work City Walls With The Basilica of The Virgin Mary In The Background, Krakow, which sold at auction in April 2006 for USD 66,000.00 (€ 52,281.37).

Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Polish royal Hill, Krakow von Julian Falat zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.441,11) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Julian Falat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit City Walls With The Basilica of The Virgin Mary In The Background, Krakow beobachtet, die im April 2006 für USD 66.000,00 (€ 52.281,37) versteigert wurde.
