Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Weave) by Julia Schmidt for USD 375.00 (€ 319.34). This price was achieved in the auction First Open at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julia Schmidt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel (stash) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 7,095.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Weave) von Julia Schmidt für USD 375,00 (€ 319,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julia Schmidt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel (stash) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.095,00.
